Get the Look @lupitawoo

Get the look

 Get the Look !

Get this very simple, sophisticated look with only a few products. Use the L'Oreal True Match foundation all over your face, after you have moisturized and primed. To set the foundation use the Rimmel London Stay Matte powder on your "T" zone, which is: forehead, and nose. After that use the Urban Decay Naked Basics pallet to give yourself a natural yet dramatic eye. Use Venus from the pallet or Stardust to use as a highlighter under brow bone and in the inner corners of your eyes as well. My favorite shadow for this part is Venus off of the Basics pallet. To give yourself a healthy glow use the Laguna bronzer by NARS. To apply this use a smaller brush than your regular powder/ bronzer brush so you can have a little more control of the pigment. If it helps suck in your cheeks and apply to the hallows underneath the cheekbones. Now my favorite part: the lips! Apply your favorite deep red lipstick. I choose this NARS semi matte lipstick in Red Lizard. No need for lip liner here girls, this is a more relaxed sophisticated look. For your lashes use Maybelline's The Colossal Volume mascara, this is a staple item in my makeup kit. To set it you can re- powder areas that need it and add Model in a Bottle setting spray. Your makeup will look fresh all day long.
Let me know how you like this look. Once you try it send me pictures at makeupbylupitawoo@gmail.com to be posted on future post.

Beauty Favorites @lupitawoo

Lupita's Beauty Faves

As all of you might know I'm a makeup artist and also a fashion and beauty contributor for the Stylist Handbook. This is one of my first beauty posts. These are some of my favorite items right now! Some are brand new to my collection and some are staple items in my makeup kit. Hope you enjoy and leave a comment down below!

1. L'Oreal Elnett Satin hairspray- I first learned about this hairspray when I went up to my friend's apartment in Downtown Los Angeles. This was the only thing she had and I instantly fell in love! I get mine at Ulta Beauty for about $15. Try it and you'll see that you won't have that hard hair spray residue.

2. Neutrogena Oil- Free Cleansing Wipes- Sometimes I get a little lazy with my nightly cleansing routine and yes I know wipes leave a lot of makeup residue still on your face but I love them anyway. I love every Neutrogena product although my skin is not acne prone I use all their facial cleansing products.

3.L'Oreal True Match- I was a little hesitant in trying this foundation out because i thought it would just be like any other drugstore foundation but to my surprise its been great. I apply this with the Beauty Blender and it stays on all day.

4. Ben Nye Bella Luxury Powder- I got the Banana powder and I love it. I use this powder under my eyes to give my face a more awake bright look. This product was made popular by Kim K. and its been in demand since us makeup lovers found out how amazing this setting powder really is. One of my best buys from IMATS LA 2013

5. Revlon Colorstay Whipped- So i wanted to try this foundation because my favorite beauty vlogger Nicole Guerriero loves it. I went to Target and got it about a month or so ago and I love it. Its full coverage and it gives my skin a smooth fresh feeling.

6.Urban Decay Naked Basics- I LOVE THIS PALLET !! I have been wanting to get it since it was anounced by UD. It gives you all the colors from the Naked pallets but matte. This is perfect for me because my skin is oily and don't want extra shimmer shadows.

7. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder- Started using this after I saw famous YouTube Vlogger Tanya Burr use it and now I can't live without it. I haven't used this on clients just yet because I don't know how it photographs. But it's an inexpensive alternative to any setting powder.

8. EOS Lip Balm- I cant live without this! I use this all the time and my daughter loves it too. The best thing about it is that you can't lose it. Its sold everywhere, I've seen it at Target but I got mine at Ulta.

9. Anastasia Brow Kit- Anastasia saved my life. I used to use this cheap brown eye shadow as a filler for my brows and now all I use is this Anastasia brow kit. Sephora has it for about $29. A little pricey but its the best on the market.

10.L'Oreal nail polish- they have so many beautiful colors for Spring my faves are Paparazzi Purple and Money. Nicole Guerriero had this in her latest favorites video as well.

11. Maybelline Color Whispers- I swear by these little tubes of heaven. They are a perfect blend of moisture and color. I went to Ulta and got about 4 different colors and I love them all.

12. Maybelline Ultra Liner- So I first learned about this liner when I would see my mom constantly re-purchase it. One day I decided to buy it and I love it. If you ladies know me, you know that I can't live without liquid liner. This is one of the best I've tried along with Milani's Liquid Liner with the felt tip.

Hope y'all enjoyed my favorites for this month , leave a comment down below with any product suggestions that you want me to review for you!!

Affordable Fashion

afforable fashion

So as all of you may know I love a bargain, but I also love fashion. Forever21 has made my dreams come true. I mainly shop at two different locations: Brea Mall and Anaheim Plaza. The Anaheim Plaza one was probably remodeled about 3 years ago and it's a two-story location. This is my emergency location. My fave is definitely the Brea Mall location. It was recently remodeled, I think the remodeled location has been open for less than six months. Nonetheless I think their clothes are fab and it's all affordable.
Forever21 is my go-to place to shop when I want a cool trendy outfit.

These are some of the items that came into mind as "needs" for Spring. I love accessories!! a great purse is a must in my world, also I can't live without sunnies. Recently I've been obsessed with sneakers, preferably sneakers that have spikes or leopard.  I live in flats. Even though I'm a short girl, I love being my height.  I wear them to work everyday  and when I'm off I wear them to dinner with my hubby or just out to go shopping with my besties. Also a cute Spring dress can give you that extra touch effortless touch of femininity.

Accessorizing your outfit gives it a pop so don't forget those think colorful belts and your iPhone case to match.

Until next time, stay gorgeous xoxo
